Abstract: Recommendations in this report address three broad issue areas key to ongoing state- and security-building efforts in Afghanistan: political reform, regional relationships, and international priorities. The recommendations are a result of a colloquium convened by the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination in Brussels, Belgium in November 2007.
